Tag Day is the major fund-raising event for the Revere High School Music Program. Held each year the second Saturday in August, money is raised through door-to-door fundraising, “tagging” neighbors for their monetary support and leaving them with a schedule of 5th through 12th grade music program performances. All students who are in any RHS music program are strongly encouraged to participate, including incoming freshmen, as this is our largest fundraising event.
Students register in teams of two. Sign ups are during band camp and the last few weeks of school for choir and orchestra students. We encourage teams consisting of a first year/underclassmen music student and a partner who has already participated in a Tag Day. Each team is responsible for having a parent driver. We encourage freshmen/underclassmen parents to be drivers as this is a great opportunity to get to know our music students and other parents!
